WHAT: St. Luke’s is proud to host its second annual Mental Health Conference at the DECC in Duluth. The majority of initial mental health care in Minnesota is provided in the primary care setting by providers without formal psychiatric training. The goal of the conference is to provide education for non-psychiatrists in evidence-based assessment and treatment strategies. The event will feature local and regional experts speaking on the most common and challenging mental illness presentations in a clear, concise and clinically relevant fashion.
The media is encouraged to attend and interviews may be arranged with Dr. David Baldes.
