Aspirus St. Luke's Welcomes Lakeisha Lommel, PA-C
St. Luke’s welcomes Lakeisha Lommel, PA-C to its cardiology team.
Growing up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Lommel was always interested in the sciences. While pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the College of St. Scholastica, she decided that becoming a physician assistant was the right path for her. She completed her undergraduate degree and realized her passion for cardiology while working as a patient care assistant at the CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center at St. Cloud Hospital. After that, she was determined to become a cardiology PA-C.
Lommel earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Des Moines University in Iowa, and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She strives to work with patients to create a care plan they are both comfortable with. Her interests include electrophysiology and interventional cardiology.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and two dogs. She also enjoys time at the cabin with family and friends, being on the lake, reading and working out.
