Philosophy of care
It is my goal to treat every patient as if they are family or a friend. I will treat you with the same time, dedication and commitment I would invest on those closest to me. I will put your best health interests first.
Why Brian went into medicine
My interest in cardiology stems from personal experiences. I lost several family members to cardiovascular disease when I was young. I now revolve my practice around educating patients on all options in health care, and navigating patients toward the greatest quality of life.
Favorite advice to give to patients
I believe that exercise is the best way to prevent illness. My medical advice for patients is to make time for exercise now, or they will need to make time for illness later.
Hobbies
I fell in love with Duluth during graduate school. I enjoy the honesty and integrity of the community, as well as the outdoor beauty. In my free time, I enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Superior, and hiking the Superior Trail. During the summer, my wife, two boys and I enjoy camping on the North Shore.
