Why Kathryn went into Medicine
After suffering a serious injury as a child, I spent a lot of time as a patient at St. Luke’s. My experience inspired me to become a nurse. Almost the entirety of my career has been at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Favorite advice to give patients
Health and wellness are your greatest investments. Don’t make health a chore. When you learn to enjoy healthy food and exercise, you will form beneficial habits for a lifetime.

Hobbies
I enjoy the outdoors. Some of my hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, camping, travelling, learning new skills, house improvement projects, and spending time with my family, especially my amazing husband and dog.
