Our goal is to help facilitate successful recovery, allowing individuals to function as normally as possible in their daily lives.

Treatment by a hand therapist may include:

  • Wound care
  • Moist heat and cold therapy
  • Pain management
  • Scar and soft tissue massage
  • Desensitization and sensory re-education
  • Customized splint fabrication
  • Joint protection education
  • Home management
  • Home exercise programs
  • Range of motion and strengthening exercise
