Teaming Up for a Lifelong Management of Good Health
Endocrinology is a sub-specialty of Internal Medicine. Patients with problems involving hormone-secreting glands often present with a wide variety of signs, symptoms, diseases and syndromes, many of which are closely interrelated. Diabetes is one such condition. Our endocrinologist often works closely with the patient’s primary care physician and St. Luke’s Diabetes Care Program to manage the patient’s diabetes and maintain the patient’s health and nutrition.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association has recognized Robert Sjoberg, MD, of St. Luke's Endocrinology Associates for 10 evidence-based measures in the Physician Diabetes Program. Dr. Sjoberg has demonstrated he is a part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for skill in providing the highest-level of care to their patients with diabetes.
Dr. Sjoberg is listed on the NCQA web page as achieving this recognition. www.ncqa.org/tabid/74/Default.aspx
