Helping to improve the quality of life
St.Luke's Pulmonary Medicine Associates specializes in adults who have difficulty during life's daily activities and could be experiencing serious lung dysfunction.
Philosophy of Care
We work as a team with our patients and their families to restore and maintain lung function and quality of sleep. We combine our years of clinical experience with technology to provide a level of care that is unique to our patients' needs.
Conditions and Treatments
Drs. Joseph Martinelli, Wayne Elmer, Vance Bachelder and JeRay Johnson also offer pulmonary medicine care to adults with more complex and advanced pulmonary health issues such as:
In response to a growing need, St. Luke's opened a Sleep Center where sleep studies can be conducted for individuals suspected to have a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea, insomnia, leg movement disorders and narcolepsy.
Sleep studies take place in a comfortable, hotel-like suite in a quiet area of the hospital. They are conducted and scored by ploysomnography technologists and reviewed by Dr. Vance Bachelder, a board-certified pulmonologist specializing in sleep medicine. Patients are then followed up with a pulmonologist.
