Interventional Pain Management Physician Openings

Position Description

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking 1 fellowship-trained physician who is BC/BE in pain management and anesthesiology to join 1 other physician, 1 physician assistant, and 1 licensed acupuncturist in an established pain clinic.

  • This position is clinic-based only and does not require call.

  • Large referral base

  • Great access to OR and Procedure rooms

  • Part of a comprehensive spine care program: St. Luke's Spine Center

We provide pain management services designed to improve the quality of life and overall function of patients. Dr. Kathryn Thompson and Nicole Hatcher, PA-C treat chronic, acute and cancer pain through a multimodal, comprehensive approach, including medication recommendations, interventional therapies, and referrals.

The clinic is consultative, and throughout the process, the primary care provider and Pain Management physicians work as a team with patients. Our goal is to include coordination of strategies that provide relief of pain, prevention of prolonged disability, and enhancement of quality of life. Less invasive options are considered first, and if deemed ineffective, more invasive pain management options may be considered. Once an effective management regimen is established, patients continue to work with their primary care physician.
