Child Car Seat Safety Checks

About This Event

Parents are encouraged to stop by a car seat safety check event to have their children’s car seats inspected free of charge. No signup or registration is required, and seats are inspected on a first come, first served basis. 

Drivers will pull into the fire department bay where certified technicians will inspect the vehicle and car seat(s) and provide education on the following:

• New MN car seat law clarification
• Car seat installation and use
• Harness adjustment
• Tips and techniques to ensure maximum safety
• Reassurance
• Answering questions
