Aspirus St. Luke's Miller Creek Medical Clinic Welcomes Dr. Kelly McKinnon
St. Luke’s Miller Creek Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome Hermantown native and family medicine physician Dr. Kelly McKinnon.
Dr. McKinnon earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth. He completed his family medicine residency at Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program. While there, he served as chief resident from 2020-2021. He was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Plus, he served as clinic director for the medical school associated free clinic – HOPE Clinic. He is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. His areas of interest include pediatrics, prenatal care, diabetes and chronic disease management.
Dr. McKinnon went into family medicine because it combines his passions of caring for others and the basic sciences. He takes a practical approach to patient-centered care using evidence-based medicine.
