Josh, Clinic Manager

“Every hospital is made of two main groups: the medical people and the business people,” explained Josh, Specialty Clinic Manager at St. Luke’s. “The medical people are our doctors, nurses and other staff working on the front lines to care for patients. The business people are those working behind the scenes, including our administrative staff and support services. It’s my job to make sure both sides understand each other. That way, our patients get the best experience possible.”

Josh has been at St. Luke’s since 2017 and he’s deeply grateful for all the opportunities he’s had to develop personally and professionally. He now manages five clinics (St. Luke’s Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates, St. Luke’s Urology Associates, St. Luke’s Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, St. Luke’s Surgical Associates and St. Luke’s Vascular Associates), and gets to help others grow, too. “Working alongside someone to get them to the next step in their career is really satisfying,” he said. “I love seeing my people succeed.”

As far as the future goes, Josh is proud of where St. Luke’s is going. “We’re on the precipice of becoming something bigger and better than we’ve ever been,” he said. “It’s really exciting to see where its going and I’m happy to be part of it.”
