Philosophy of care
My job as a physical therapist is to give my patients the knowledge and tools regarding their medical condition, anatomy and biomechanics to help them feel comfortable managing their symptoms independently.
Why Hannah went into therapy
After experiencing a season-ending injury in college softball, I went through the rehabilitation process and was impressed by how progressive strengthening, range of motion, and activity modification improved my function. At that point, I knew I wanted to help others improve function and independence with activities of daily living and leisure activities.
Favorite advice to give patients
It can be frustrating to not see improvement right away, but positive changes take time. It is important to remember the small changes one may not have been able to do before physical therapy but can do now.
