What is your philosophy of care?
I believe in comprehensive care and partnered decision-making between physicians and patients.
What made you want to go into medicine?
The dedication and hard work I saw put in by my grandfather and both my parents, all of whom were physicians and their positive contribution to their patients.
What is your favorite advice to give patients?
I like my patients to be active participants in their own care. It is considered a way to increase awareness of one’s own health condition, which raises motivation to take responsibility and a sense of control over the treatment plan.
What are your personal interests?
Traveling, geopolitics, investing, tennis, squash, cycling, lifting weights and swimming.
